Building Maintenance
We are currently seeking someone who is self-motivated and able to prioritize responsibilities for a Building Maintenance position with our Mana Foods Ohana!
The Building Maintenance position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment, in one or more areas such as electrical, plumbing, painting and grounds-keeping.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Establishes, monitors, and carries out preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings, equipment and grounds
• Ensures building and equipment meet all safety, security and fire regulations
• Performs carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical and plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Coordinates with external contractors for major repairs and maintenance as needed
• Collects and removes garbage and recycling and ensures safe disposal of hazardous waste
• Oversees and maintains external areas such as entranceways, sidewalks and parking lots
• Routinely purchases cleaning and/or building supplies, and makes recommendations to GM on major purchases
• Completes and maintains records such as maintenance logs and security incident reports
• Services company trucks and forklifts
• Performs other related duties as required
Essential physical requirements are the following:
• Standing: frequently
• Walking: frequently
• Climbing: occasional (ladders up to 6 feet above the ground, stairs)
• Bending/stooping/kneeling: frequently
• Carrying and lifting: frequently up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

Deli Manager
We are seeking an experienced, self-starting individual to join our Mana Foods Ohana as a Deli Manager.
The Deli Manager is responsible for supervising deli employees, creating schedules, implementing new menu items, and ensuring superb customer service in every customer interaction. The Deli Manager also works with the general manager to determine the deli’s needs and goals, and submit orders to vendors. This position requires managerial experience, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment. Our ideal candidate has strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, in addition to proven experience leading and supervising others.
Willing to train the right candidate who has managerial experience and has an interest in food service but no prior background with the food service industry.
Deli Manager Responsibilities:
• Oversee deli employees, ensuring appropriate food handling, customer service, and food preparation.
• Manage employee schedules and time-off requests.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to produce displays and maintain appearance of the deli.
• Slice, weigh and package meats and cheeses.
• Create sandwiches and keep sandwich display area clean and neat.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the Health Department.
• Create a safe and fun environment with all deli employees to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Continuously update product pricing and inventory lists to match current market trends.
Deli Manager Requirements and Preferences:
• Required to have managerial experience, preferably in a deli or food service setting.
• Required to be able to lift heavy items, up to 50lbs.
• Required to have excellent customer service and communication.
• Required to comprehend and follow all Mana Foods procedures and regulations.
• Required to have a courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints.
• Required to have Food Safe Certification with the state of Hawaii, or willing to do so first week of employment.
• Preferred to have past experience with food preparation.
• Preferred knowledge with software programs such as Excel is a strong plus.

Cashiers are responsible for the following:
• Accurately and efficiently process customers' transactions while providing fast and friendly service.
• Meeting the standards of excellent customer service.
• Cashiers often bag their customers' orders.
• They assist in the cleaning and dusting of the check stands and surrounding areas.
• Taking “return” products back to proper shelf locations.
• Able to work well with others in a cooperative environment.
• Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills must be detail-oriented so we can minimize expenses and loss.
• Good understanding of Mana’s inventory.
