Here at Mana, we feel that continuing to do our part to keep our community safe and healthy is part of our promise to you. We are fully complying with all of the most up-to-date County of Maui DOH rules that pertain to public health, hygiene, and overall caution regarding COVID-19.
Here at Mana Foods we are taking serious measures to ensure that our store is clean and is responsibly managed in regard to COVID-19. The following are the rules for shopping at Mana, as well as the steps and precautions we have been taking and will continue with for the foreseeable future.
It is absolutely mandatory that a mask is worn at all times by all customers and employees. Face shields are not allowed in place of masks!
Since March of 2020 we have been operating at a 20% maximum capacity to ensure easier social distancing. Maui county DOH requires less than 30% occupancy.
We have installed an industrial strength Ozonator into our air conditioning system in order to ensure that the air throughout the store is being constantly and effectively filtered.
We have installed an additional ionic UV sanitizing air purifier in the vitamin room for extra protection. We are only allowing 6 people in the vitamin room at a time.
The self-serve option of our deli was removed on March 17th 2020 and protective barriers were installed. Carry out options of hot and cold deli food items are still available.
Shopping carts, shopping baskets, door handles, all doors, and various other surfaces are being sanitized throughout the day with disinfectant.
For sanitary purposes please use our sanitized hand baskets and carts and do not shop into your own personal bags.
The hand-washing sink (near the front of the store by the registers) is being sanitized with disinfectant throughout the day.
The common surfaces of the bulk room are being sanitized with disinfectant constantly throughout the day. We are only allowing 5 people in the bulk room at a time.
All employees who have left the island are under a 10-day quarantine prior to returning to work.
We are making constant storewide announcements reminding people to properly secure their masks, and social distance while shopping by staying at least 6ft apart from each other.
Our Kupuna Hours are on Monday & Fridays from 7:30am-8:30am.
Curbside shopping is available Monday-Friday from 8am-2pm.
