It's a Small World... An interview with Mana Supervisor, Cathy Banks…
Making her way to Maui slowly, Cathy was born on the east coast, traveled to the Bay area and finally settled on this special island we call home. Cathy Banks celebrated her 20 year Mana Foods anniversary in August 2019. You can find Cathy at the front of the store with a big smile and pleasant demeanor. She is an expert in providing customers with excellent service.
Why has Cathy worked at Mana Foods for all these years?
Aside from the great food, Cathy loves the people she works for~all four owners of the store and especially Pat Gagne, the General Manager of Mana Foods. Cathy has learned a lot about health food over the years and loves being around the unusually kind group of people who work and shop at Mana Foods.
About 9 years ago, Cathy was pleasantly surprised when she recognized an employee that worked in the Mana Foods kitchen. She knew this man from a health food store in Vermont. It is certainly a small world for people who are loyal natural food store shoppers!
Cathy’s hobby for several decades has been a sojourn of natural food stores. She has made her appearance in many and insists that Mana is truly the best! Cathy expresses that she just loves being here.
