This amazing environmental organization is working to “save the forest and save the birds through forest restoration and species recovery.” -MFBRP
This is so important because “Hawai’i has suffered wider-spread extinctions than anywhere else on the planet" and it must stop. Furthermore, “much of Maui was once covered by native forests that are now gone. Rebuilding these areas will not only provide habitat for native Hawaiian species but will also restore these watersheds.” -MFBRP
